Service Policy Information

NO CHILDREN

For the comfort and safety of our guest and students, we do not offer services to children under the age of 13.  Children may not be left unattended, and are not permitted on the salon or spa floor at any time.


LATE ARRIVALS
Arriving 15 minutes late past appointment time, we have the right to reschedule the appointment for another day.


SERVICE GUARANTEE
We strive to make our guests happy. Any salon service correction must be made within five days of the original service. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. No refund on service(s), unused package or product purchases.


PAYMENT METHODS
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Credit card purchases must be a minimum of $10. Sorry, no checks or American Express. Our students graciously accept cash gratuity only.


STUDENT SERVICES
All Salon and Spa services are performed by students in a teaching environment. All services are supervised and students are guided by licensed Cosmetologists and Estheticians to provide you with the best service possible. Allow extra time for all services. In certain circumstances, a service may not be fully completed due to closing hours.

Please remember that The Academy is a school and learning environment, not a traditional salon or spa. Our services are performed by students under the supervision of licensed instructors. Maintaining an environment where students can focus, communicate, receive instruction, and learn is an important part of every service.


CELL PHONE POLICY

To maintain a professional and distraction-free learning environment, cell phone use is not permitted while receiving services in our salon or spa areas.

This includes:

  • Phone conversations
  • Speakerphone
  • Video or FaceTime calls
  • Watching videos or playing audio aloud


This policy applies throughout your entire service, including processing time.

If you need to make or take a call or use your phone for an extended period, we kindly ask that you step into our lobby and return to the service area when you are finished.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. By receiving services at The Academy, you are an important part of our students' hands-on education and professional development.
